I work for Barack Obama's campaign in South Carolina. I grew up in South Carolina and love the Palmetto State.
The NRCC has given up on Ralph Norman, the White House-handpicked Republican Challenger to Democratic Congressman John Spratt. The NRCC relinquished the ad time they'd reserved in the Charlotte market -- the biggest media market in the most heavily-Republican area of the SC-5th -- for the week before the election. (The NRCC had reserved the three weeks before the election but cancelled the first two weeks of that time span last week.)
The NRCC is also believed to have given up its ad time in the Columbia and Florence media markets, but as of right now that's unconfirmed.
